Rincon Mountains

Arizona's Sonoran Desert is as mysterious as it is beautiful. Considered one of the most bio-diverse areas in the world, The desert spans across the Southern half of the Grand Canyon State and extends down to Mexico's Sea of Cortez and throughout Baja California.

Ernie's Falls, a seasonal Waterfall in Tucson's Saguaro National Park East, flows majestically through tucson's Rincon Mountains after an early March storm. Canon 7D, 0.4 sec., f/13, ISO 100.

The Rincon Mountains host seasonal cascades, like Bridal Wreath Falls, which runs about a mile upstream from Ernie's Falls. This morning, the upper and lower falls are running strong after a spring storm.
